NAVITEL® releases Q3 2016 maps of Europe for NAVITEL GPS navigators
Q3 2016 maps of 47 European countries are now available for the users of NAVITEL navigators based on Windows CE:
NAVITEL E500, NAVITEL E100, NAVITEL C200, NAVITEL F150, NAVITEL F300, NAVITEL MS400, NAVITEL MS600
Q3 2016 map update includes the following 47 countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vatican City State.
The updated maps contain 15 277 776 km of road graph, 6 244 264 POI, and 902 994 settlements, 339 225 of which are provided with the detailed road network and support address search.
Austria
The map of Austria includes 25 905 settlements, 10 597 of them are provided with the road network and support address search. The POI database has been updated, and as a result, includes now the total of 58 257 POI. Length of the road graph is 214 000 km.
The road network in the western part of the country has been updated including all interchanges and SPEEDCAM database.
Q3 2016 map release adds the following roads:
- L197 near Stuben;
- the road between B100 and L37 near Töplitsh;
- L37 near Lansach.
The POI database has been considerably updated.
New brands of POI include: Bank Austria, BAWAG PSK, BKS Bank, ERSTE Bank, Oberbank, Raiffeisen BANK, Sparkasse, Volksbank, A1, Avanti, Diskont, Eni, Genol, IQ, Tank Roth,Tumöl, Adeg, Bauhaus, BIPA, C&A, Deichmann, dm, Hervis, Interspar, KiK, Kika, Merkur, Möbelix, Mpreis, Nah & Frisch, New Yorker, NKD, Norma, OBI, PAGRO DISKONT, Penny, Spar, Unimarkt, Vögele, Zielpunkt.
Czech Republic
The map of Czech Republic includes 20 535 settlements, 6 259 of them are provided with the road network and support address search. The POI database has been updated, and as a result, includes now the total of 110 613 POI. Length of the road graph is 160 414 km.
The road network and the routing have been updated in the following settlements: Česká Lípa, Jablonec nad Nisou, Liberec, Mladá Boleslav, Turnov, Pardubice.
A new by-pass channel around Příseka has been added.
Q3 2016 release introduces new POI type – electric car charging station – and adds new brand of POI – MOL.
Hungary
The map of Hungary includes 3 969 settlements, 3 210 of them are provided with the road network and support address search. The POI database has been updated, and as a result, includes now the total of 32 675 POI. Length of the road graph is 108 812 km.
A new by-pass channel around Tiszabezdéd has been added.
The road network has been updated. New road sections have been added on the following roads:
- road 43 near Györ;
- road 2205 near Ráróspuszta.
The routing on Highway М43 around exit 46 has also been updated.
Poland
The map of Poland includes 95 313 settlements, 53 671 of them are provided with the road network and support address search. The POI database has been updated, and as a result, includes now the total of 262 484 POI. Length of the road graph is 710 373 km.
The road network has been updated und now includes the following roads:
- A4 Rzeszów-Jarosław;
- Wschodnia Obwodnica Wrocławia in Wroclaw;
- Road 19 (Aleja Solidarności) and 809 (Bohaterów Września) in Lublin.
New brands of POI have been added to the map: Black Red White, Komputronik.

The maps of all 47 countries include address search in residential and industrial areas of settlements coupled with the highly detailed road network with streets, roads, and with due account to road directions, interchanges, roundabouts, and other important road information.
